Indian Journal of Dermatology (ISSN: Print- , Online - 1998-3611 ) ... is peer-reviewed journal published Bimonthly on behalf of IADVL, W B State Branch. The journal publishes information relating to skin, its ailments and the different modes of therapeutics. It also carries articles on Leprosy, STI and HIV/AIDS. Four issues are published in the months of January, April, July and October. In 1965 it became the official organ of the then Dermatological society, India. Since 1973, it is being published on behalf of Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists, West Bengal State branch.

The Indian Journal of Dermatology Venereology & Leprology is a bimonthly ... peer-reviewed journal that publishes articles in the field of dermatology, leprosy and sexually transmitted diseases. The Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists & Leprologists (IADVL) is the national association of Indian medical specialists who manage patients with skin disorders, sexually transmitted infections (STIs) or leprosy. The current member strength of the association is about 3800. The association works for the betterment of the specialty by holding academic meetings, printing a journal and publishing a textbook. The IADVL has several state branches, each with their own office bearers, which function independently within the constitution of the IADVL. Established in 1940, the Indian Journal of Dermatology, Venereology and Leprology (IJDVL, ISSN 0378-6323) is the official publication of the IADVL (Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists). It is a bimonthly peer-reviewed journal that reaches all 3500 members of this organization as well as almost 100 medical colleges in India. The purpose of the IJDVL is to facilitate scientific dialogue amongst its members through the medium of publication of case reports, studies or letters as well as to deliver continuing medical education to its members and postgraduate students through reviews and other articles. While doing this the IJDVL is committed to include only adequately authenticated material that is of scientific value to the clinicians or postgraduates of this specialty in India.

The scope of the Journal allows publication of papers on medical education with reference to Microbiology at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in either medical or paramedical courses; innovations in techniques; epidemiologic investigations and interdisciplinary work in infectious diseases.
