The International Journal of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (IJTLD) is the ... official publication of the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (UNION). It is distributed in over 165 countries world-wide to physicians, health workers, researchers, professors, students and decision-makers including public health centres, medical, university and pharmaceutical libraries, hospitals, clinics, foundations and institutions. Published principally in English with French and Spanish summaries, selected articles are translated into French, and a Chinese version is distributed three times per year to 4000 colleagues in China. The first issue of the Russian version appeared in October 2003. Plans are also underway for a version in Spanish. The IJTLD is the reference for clinical research and epidemiological studies on tuberculosis. It is also the only peer-reviewed journal dedicated to lung health worldwide, including articles on TB/HIV and non-tuberculosis-related respiratory diseases such as asthma, acute respiratory infection, COPD, child lung health and the hazards of tobacco and pollution - all topics that reflect the wide scope of the activities of the UNION and its members.

The JAMA Network Journals are freely available on an html app called The JAMA Network Reader. In addition, the online version is freely available to institutions in developing countries. JAMA's impact factor is 30. JAMA's acceptance rate is approximately 9% of the nearly 7000 major manuscripts it receives annually. In 2013, the median time for an initial decision for submitted manuscripts was 6 days, and the median time from submission to acceptance for all articles was 27 days. O Jornal Brasileiro de Pneumologia destina-se à publicação de trabalhos referentes à Pneumologia e especialidades correlatas e é distribuído para todos os sócios da Sociedade, bibliotecas das Faculdades de Medicina e maiores hospitais do país, bem como para algumas entidades estrangeiras, especialmente da América Latina. O Jornal Brasileiro de Pneumologia teve periodicidade bimestral até dezembro de 2007. A publicação tornou-se mensal a partir de janeiro de 2008 e voltou a ser bimestral em janeiro de 2010. As Diretrizes da Sociedade Brasileira de Pneumologia e Tisiologia deixam então de serem publicadas em suplementos especiais e, com textos mais enxutos e objetivos, incorporam-se aos números regulares da revista.
