The Journal of Cell Biology publishes papers on all aspects of ... cellular structure and function. Areas of interest include, but are not restricted to, nuclear organization and structure, protein and membrane trafficking, signal transduction, cytoskeleton and molecular motors, cell cycle and division, cell growth, survival and death, cellular adhesion and motility, and intercellular communication. The Editors also encourage the submission of manuscripts that define the interfaces between cell biology and other fields, especially those elucidating the cell biological basis of problems in immunology, neurobiology, microbial pathology, developmental biology, and disease. As the methodology of cell biology has come to encompass everything from structural biology to molecular biology, biochemistry to immunocytochemistry, genetics to live cell imaging, submissions are welcome regardless of experimental approach.

The journal covers all aspects of cutaneous and aesthetic surgery, including cutaneous surgical procedures, lasers, light based treatments, and aesthetic treatments. Articles on related topics such as skin tumors, pigmentary disorders, nevi, other skin diseases, histopathology, diagnostic techniques, drugs, cosmoceuticals as applied to surgical aspects are also welcome. The journal gives preference to clinically oriented studies over experimental and animal studies. The Journal would publish peer-reviewed original research papers, case reports, systematic reviews, meta-analysis, and debates. The JEM has long been known for its emphasis on physiological mechanisms and has more recently championed basic research on human subjects.
The JEM is a leading life sciences journal with an ISI impact factor of 14.588,* placing it among the top publications in two ISI categories: Immunology and Research & Experimental Medicine. The journals articles also have lasting impact, with a cited half-life of seven years.
With an acceptance rate below 15%, the JEM remains one of the most selective biomedical journals. Researchers who submit their work to the JEM benefit from an average time-to-first-decision of <5 weeks for reviewed manuscripts and <10 days for non-reviewed manuscripts. The average time from acceptance to publication remains under eight weeks.

The main objective of the Journal is to serve as a ... vehicle of communication to highlight all aspects of the practice of medical physics. The areas covered include radiation dosimetry, treatment planning systems, quality assurance, clinical investigations of new modalities and follow-up, radiation protection of workers and public, radiation effects, accidents and emergencies, diagnostic modalities (X-ray diagnostic radiology, CT, MRI, ultrasound etc) and investigations in radio-biology including hypothermia. JOURNAL OF MEDICAL PHYSICS publishes articles broadly concerned with the application of experimental or theoretical physics to human health care. Contributions in the categories of editorial, state-of-the-art review article, original research article, letter to the editor, report on conference, book review and abstract of PhD thesis of AMPI member. All papers are peer reviewed. The Board of Editors constitutes internationally known medical physicists from both developing and developed countries. Authors are invited to send their manuscripts to the Resident Editor. All efforts are made to provide a copy of the journal to each subscription members of the Association. In view of the postal problems experienced, efforts are also in progress for arranging to post the future copies of the journal at the AMPI website. Members may be permitted to download the journal for their professional use. The journal may also be subscribed for libraries.
